Abstract

The invention relates to a method for decoding a current image comprising the following steps: receiving the bit stream containing the current image; dividing the encoded block in the current image to obtain one or more subblocks; obtaining the inverse quantization coefficients of the first subblock; creating the residual signal of the first subblock; reconstructing the encoded block; performing inverse quantization on the first subblock. The patent also describes the current image encoding method, which includes the following steps: dividing the current image into encoded blocks to obtain one or more sub-blocks; obtaining the transformation coefficients of the first sub-block; obtaining the quantization transformation coefficients of the first sub-block; and generating a bit stream by encoding the quantization transformation coefficients of the first sub-block. Furthermore, the term refers to a computer-readable, immutable recording medium used to store data associated with image signals, and a method of data transmission associated with image signals.
