Hair conditioning products and methods for enhancing the adhesion of beneficial particles

Abstract

The product contains: (i) branched-chain cationic surfactants selected from substances with structure 1 with a content from 0.01% to 10% by weight: in which: • R1 and R.2 consist of straight-chain alkyl chains, saturated or unsaturated, with carbon chain lengths from 4 to 20 carbon atoms; • R.3 consists of straight or branched proton or alkyl chains, saturated or unsaturated, with carbon chain lengths from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; • n is between 0 and 10; • X® is an organic or inorganic anion; (ii) straight-chain fats having straight carbon chains with at least one straight carbon chain, selected from straight-chain fatty alcohols, alkylated straight-chain fatty alcohols, straight-chain fatty acids and mixtures thereof, with a content from 0.1% to 10% by weight; (iii) a structuring agent with a content of 0.1% to 5% by weight; (iv) a granular beneficial substance selected from the conditioning agents in which the ratio of branched-chain cationic conditioning surfactants (i) to straight-chain lipids (ii) is between 1:20 and 1:1, resulting in improved adhesion of the granular beneficial substance to bleached hair.
