Abstract
The invention relates to an interior architectural cladding using recycled fibers with enhanced fire-retardant performance. To achieve this, the interior architectural cladding consists of a fire-resistant board with numerous sound-conducting holes for sound wave transmission, and an sound-absorbing layer attached to the second face of the fire-resistant board to absorb sound waves transmitted through the sound-conducting holes. The fire-resistant board consists of multiple fire-resistant boards stacked on top of each other. The sound wave-conducting holes of the fire-resistant board are positioned lower and are larger than the sound wave-conducting holes of the fire-resistant board, which are positioned higher. The sound-absorbing layer is produced by impregnating non-woven fabric in a melamine-based fire-retardant nitrogen solution to impart fire-retardant properties.
