Abstract
This patent proposes methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication. The transmitting device (e.g., user equipment (UE) or base station) can reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) by cutting the signals transmitted to the receiving device at a cutoff level. The receiving device can receive, from the transmitting device, a cutoff indicator combined with a reference signal. The receiving device can receive the reference signal and identify distortions based on the cut level. The receiving device can iteratively reconstruct the cut points of the reference signal until it can obtain accurate pilot symbols for use in channel estimation. The techniques described here can allow receiving devices to improve the efficiency and reliability of communications by improving channel estimation, which can increase the probability of successful decoding of transmitted information. In addition, the invention also relates to a computer-readable, immutable means.
