Wireless communication devices and methods at user devices

Abstract

The term "wireless communication" refers specifically to the devices and methods of wireless communication at the user's location. The aspects presented in this document allow a vehicle UE to transmit a blackout warning message to one or more pedestrian UEs without receiving P2V transmissions from one or more pedestrian UEs. In one aspect, the first UE determines one or more configuration parameters for several second UEs, one or more of which include an identification parameter, which is associated with a time interval. The first UE determines, based on the identification parameters for at least one second UE of multiple second UEs, whether to send an alert message to at least one second UE. The first UE sends, based on the determination to send an alert message, an alert message to at least one second UE. This alert message includes the ID of at least one second UE, the ID of which is based on the identification parameters.
