Abstract
Energy efficiency measurements can be implemented for high-frequency operating cups. WTRU can identify measurements, DRX configuration cycles / switches, DRX pauses / resumptions, DRX timer and / or BFR activity based on scheduling activity, beam configuration, BFD detection, beam attenuation, etc. WTRU can be configured with multiple DRX cycles and opportunities (e.g., with different peak periods). WTRU can perform measurements (e.g., RS) with a defined / configured duration (e.g., DRX duration) during the first DRX cycle based on conditions. WTRU can then move to the second DRX cycle and perform RS measurements with a defined / configured duration based on conditions (e.g., the number of BFJs detected during the first DRX cycle). WTRU can chuven from the second DRX cycle (e.g., short) to the first DRX cycle (e.g., long) or to non-DRX activity (e.g., DRX pause or reset DRX inactive timer) based on conditions (e.g., number of BFĨ in the first and / or second DRX cycle(s)).
