Abstract

The invention solves the problem of improving the antistatic and elastic properties of treated synthetic fibers. The treatment agent for polyester synthetic fibers according to the invention contains Silicon (A), Silicon (B), anionic component and Silicon (D), while optionally contains Silicon (C). Silicon (A) is a modified Silicon with an amine group in each molecule. Silicon (B) is a silane conjugate that does not include an epoxy group but includes at least one functional group selected from among the methoxy, ethoxy, amine, and isocyanate groups in each molecule. Silicon (D) is silanol-modified silicon with a mean molecular weight not less than 20,000 but less than 200,000. Silicon (C) includes at least one ingredient selected from among silicon resins, dimethyl silicon, and alkyl-modified silicon (excluding Silicon (A) and Silicon (D)). The proportion of silicon (C) in the treatment agent for polyester synthetic fibers is less than 10% by weight.
