Image processing methods and machines, and computer-readable immovable storage media

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and machine for processing images, and a computer-readable, immutable storage medium. The examples described may utilize different settings for capturing images of different parts of image data. For example, an image sensor may capture image data of a scene and may send the image data to an image signal processor (ISP) and a classification engine for processing. Classification tools can determine that the first object image region is of the first object type, and the second object image region is of the second object type. Different certainty regions of image data can determine different levels of certainty in parts of the type. ISPs can generate images by applying different settings to different parts of the image data. Different parts of the image data can be identified based on object image regions and certainty regions.
