Methods and equipment for representing the interest zone of sound in a scenic scene

Abstract

The invention proposes a method, devices, and computer-readable storage devices for representing the space of interest of an audio scene. The device includes a processing circuit that decodes audio scene data for audio scenes. The audio scene data includes (i) the audio content for the audio scene representation items and (ii) the first syntax part indicating the type of the subset of items. The subset of items represents the space of interest of the audio scene. The processing circuit determines the portion of the audio content relative to a subset of multiple items based on the type of the subset of multiple items indicated in the first syntax element. The processing circuit then displays the determined portion of the audio content.
