Abstract

The invention relates to a method (1200) for decoding a transformation block in a picture frame from a bit stream. The method includes steps for binary decoding, single-bit reduction, single-bit reduction, binary decoding, and single-bit reduction, which are used for horizontal and vertical transformation of the picture frame transformation block.
