Abstract

The invention proposes devices and methods for communicating to a multi-link traffic map, where the communication device is an access point (AP) among several APs linked to a multi-link device (MLD), each of which operates within a corresponding link of the MLD AP, the APs comprising: The circuit, when operational, generates a frame comprising a Traffic Indication Map (TIM) element and a bitmap of presence, which includes a Partial Virtual Bitmap (PVM) indicating the presence of one or more buffered units for one of the non-AP STAs or non-AP MLDs associated with the AP or MLD AP. The presence of a bitmap indicates whether additional information relating to one or more BUs is present in the frame for one of the non-AP STAs or non-AP MLDs; and the transmitter, when operating, transmits the frame in a link.
