Welding deformation prevention device and welding methods for pipes and flanges using this device

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for preventing welding deformation and a method for welding pipes and flanges using this device, which is capable of effectively reducing welding deformation of flanges occurring during welding with pipes and improving economic efficiency and productivity. Welding deformation prevention devices include: at least one counterweight component positioned in contact with one side of the flange welded to the pipe and having a hollow section; and means of fastening and securing the counterweight component to the flange, in which the hollow section of the counterweight component may contain refrigerant.
