Abstract

The invention relates to methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication in which repeats of communications can be configured for transport block (TB) communications. The UE can determine that it has received acknowledgment of one or more initial repeats of one or more TBs, and can abort one or more subsequent repeats of the acknowledged TB(s). An acknowledgment of one or more initial iterations may be provided by the base station in a new resource license to provide a hidden acknowledgment of one or more TBs. In cases where different TBs may be involved in a previous resource license, the UE may determine to cancel one or more iterations after the hidden TB acknowledgment based on whether the resource licenses are for a single TB or multiple TBs.
