Abstract

The invention proposes an absorbent device in which an absorbent core between a pair of compression grooves can be readily protruded toward the skin contact surface, and wide contraction of the absorbent core on the outside in width relative to the pair of compression grooves can be made less likely. The absorbent device (1) consists of an absorbent core (30) and compression grooves (40) in which at least the absorbent core is compressed in the thickness direction and elongated in the anterior-posterior direction. The compression grooves have a first pair of compression grooves (41), and a second pair of compression grooves (42) in which the absorbent core is compressed from the skin-contacting surface toward the non-skin-contacting surface and is arranged on the outer surfaces along the width of the absorbent item relative to the first pair of compression grooves. The absorbent core (30) has a first absorbent core (311) which is placed on the non-skin-contacting surface of the first compression groove, and a second absorbent core (3 í 2) which is placed on the non-skin-contacting surface of the second compression groove. The non-contact surface (31 In) of the first absorbent core is positioned on the non-contact surface (35111) of the non-compression groove (35) which is part of the absorbent core and is positioned away from the compression groove in the width direction, and is positioned on the non-contact surface (3 ỉ 2n) of the second absorbent core.
