Water-soluble paints or coatings with antibacterial, deodorizing, and durable properties

Abstract

The term "invention" refers to a water-soluble coating or coating product comprising an inorganic zeolite-based compound in which one or more ion-linked metals possess superior antimicrobial properties, a clay mineral possessing superior deodorizing properties, and a photocatalyst with stable properties. The invention is characterized by containing 1~15% by weight of alkali zeolite formed by ionic bonding between metal ions and zeolite, 1~15% by weight of mineral, and 1~10% by weight of photocatalyst, and also has antibacterial, deodorizing and stable properties.
