Abstract

The invention relates to a fiber optic splicing device comprising: a base of the form of a plate fitted onto a fiber optic connector to cover the connector; a wedge protruding from the base and inserted into the mechanical splice; an operating part arranged correspondingly on both sides of the base in width and protruding in width from the connector; a pair of interlocking parts arranged correspondingly on both sides of the base in width on one side of the base in the longitudinal direction and protruding toward the connector; and the second pair of interlocking parts are arranged correspondingly on both sides of the base, with the width on the other side of the base being shorter and tapering towards the optical connector.
