Automatic battery removal system

Abstract

This patent describes an automated battery dispensing system based on a design comprising: a workstation consisting of a first workbench, a second workbench, a third workbench, and a discharge workbench; a discharge device; a robotic device; a conveyor device; and a controller electrically connected to the robotic device and the conveyor device. The control unit is configured to control the robotic device as follows: when the battery pack is placed on the first workbench, detach the battery pack from the discharge unit; when the battery pack is placed on the discharge workbench, discharge the battery pack by connecting it to the discharge device; when the discharged battery pack is placed on the second workbench, detach the battery module from the discharged battery pack; and when the battery module is placed on the third workbench, detach the battery cells from the battery module.
