Four-sided processing materials based on felt and methods for manufacturing these processing materials

Abstract

The invention proposes a technique in which, when using a four-sided felt-based processing material with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer bonded with a release liner, workers can not only quickly and easily remove the release liner from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer but also minimize the breakage of the underlying material made of mineral wool. The invention describes a four-sided processing material based on a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a continuous pressure-sensitive adhesive zone created on any flat surface of the base material in the longitudinal direction of the flat surface, and an adhesive paper bonded to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the base material is a thin sheet obtained by flattening felt-like mineral wool in the thickness direction, this sheet has a thickness from 3 to 50 mm and a width from 5 mm to 10 cm and is in the form of a long, rectangular column. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is configured so that a continuous pressure-sensitive adhesive zone is provided on the flat surface of the base material, where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided at a width narrower than the width of the cross-edge of the base material, and the non-pressure-sensitive adhesive zone where no pressure-sensitive adhesive is present is provided along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction, and the release liner is the same size as the flat surface of the base material. In addition, the invention also proposes a method for producing four-sided machined materials based on this technology.
