Abstract

The process for generating methods and designs may include receiving configuration information related to one or more regions with one or more identifiers (region identifiers). For each region identifier, configuration information may indicate one or more of the BRS, the set of TCI states for receiving PDSCH transmissions, the search space, the CORESET configuration, or the uplink resource. This method may also involve determining the area identifier of one or more area identifiers, based on measurements of one or more BRS indicated via configuration information. The indicator of the determined area identifier can be transmitted to the base station using uplink resources associated with the area identifier.
