Abstract

The invention proposes a method and device for DRX-linked 1H and DRX-linked lateral. WTRU can configure a time interval timer in milliseconds (ms) to initiate a network request for a return to origin (RTT) or a hybrid auto-repeat (HARQ) request. WTRU can initiate the HARQ RTT timer in response to an event. The event may include a downlink control information (DCI) acquisition step or a lateral link transmission scheduling step. The event may include a side link control information (SCI) acquisition step for side link HARQ transmission. The event may include a side link feedback acquisition step for side link transmission. The event includes a pre-configured time interval following the side link physical feedback channel resource (PSFCH) for feedback related to HARQ transmission. WTRU can determine the timer value based on side link transmission properties or side link transmission time.
