Abstract

The invention proposes a rotating electric machine (1) and a rotor gear (3), the rotor gear consisting of: a rotor gear body (20) with a circumferential wall (24) to enclose the stator (10) and to be rotated around the axis of rotation (O) with respect to the stator; and gears (25) formed by the convexity of the circumferential wall from the inner surface (24a) toward the outer surface of the circumferential wall in the radial direction and arranged apart, circumferentially, on the outer surface (24b) of the circumferential wall. The gears are all designed to taper outwards in the radial direction when viewed from the axis of rotation. When the thickness of the circumferential wall in the radial direction is denoted by Hl, and the height of the protrusion of each of the gears in the radial direction is denoted by H2, the thickness HI and height H2 satisfy H2 / H1 > 0.5.
