Abstract
The invention relates to an anodes for electroplating that can be produced relatively easily without the need for auxiliary means or management of the anode solution, and without the need for expensive or special metals. The anode used for electroplating according to the invention comprises: an input terminal in which an electric current is introduced from a power source; a pair of elongated terminals in the first direction, arranged at distances in the second direction intersecting the first direction, receiving the source voltage from the input terminal, and having parts in contact with the plating solution covered by insulating material; and the electrified section extends in the second direction, one end of which is connected to a support of the pair of support sections, the other end of which is connected to the other support of that pair of support sections, and receives the power supply from the pair of support sections, in which the electrified section comprises a number of current-carrying paths arranged at intervals in the first direction, and the cross-sectional area of the electrified section is smaller than the cross-sectional area of each of the support sections.
