Prefabricated support assemblies are integrated into prefabricated column assemblies to connect prestressed reinforced concrete beams.

Abstract

The design incorporates a prefabricated support assembly integrated into the prefabricated column assembly to connect prestressed reinforced concrete beams (PC beams). The ends of the PC beams are placed inside the prefabricated support assembly, which is then assembled on top of the prefabricated column assembly. Concrete is poured into this assembly to connect the PC beams and the prefabricated support assembly. This facilitates the connection of PC beams to the factory-produced prefabricated column assembly and allows for cost reduction.
