Abstract
The invention proposes a copper alloy capable of resisting corrosion due to improved fracture stress, and a copper alloy tube and heat exchanger using it. This copper alloy is a copper alloy supplemented with an alkali metal (e.g., Mg or Mn) that has a reference electrode potential equal to or less than the potential of Mu. The copper alloy tube is created by using a copper alloy supplemented with a base metal element whose reference electrode potential is equal to or less than the potential of Mh. The heat exchanger is created using a copper alloy, which is made by using a copper alloy supplemented with a base element whose polar potential is equal to or less than the potential energy of Mn.
