Abstract
The term refers to methods for transmitting group-addressed traffic, such as first-party access points, stations, chip systems, computer-readable storage media, access point multi-link devices, station multi-link devices, and systems. This method can be applied to links and devices. According to this method, group-addressed traffic indicator information is used to indicate whether each access point (AP) or AP other than the first AP in the AP multi-link device has group-addressed traffic; Or group-addressed traffic indicator information is used to indicate whether each AP or AP other than the first AP in the AP multilink device and each AP or AP other than the AP not being transmitted in the AP multilink device in which the AP is not being transmitted in the basic Service Set identifier (BSSID) set in which the first AP is located has group-addressed traffic. It can be observed that with this method, the flexibility to report group-addressed traffic of the AP is improved, avoiding the situation where each station in the STA link device monitors whether the corresponding AP has group-addressed traffic, and the power consumption of the STA link device is reduced. The invention applies to a wireless local area network that supports the next-generation IEEE 802.11ax extremely high throughput (EHT) Wi-Fi protocol, for example, the 802.11 series protocol such as sn 1 Ihp.
