Abstract
The term refers to optical distribution networks, optical network systems, splitters, and methods for identifying the splitter's port, to address the problem in conventional engineering where compatibility of existing optical network terminals is not supported when the splitter's port is identified. The optical distribution network includes a splitter, a first optical filter, and a first power conversion unit. The splitter includes at least two output ports, each corresponding to at least one primary optical filter; different output ports correspond to different primary optical filters, and the central wavelengths of the detected light that different primary optical filters allow or disallow are different. Each output of each splitter in the N-level splitter corresponds to the first power modulation group, and the first power modulation group is configured to modulate the power of the first service light based on the first detected light received. In this way, the splitter's port connected to the optical network terminal can be determined based on the first power of the first service light, the second power of the first service light with the power changed, and the center wavelength of the corresponding detection light.
