Methods for producing wood-modifying materials and using furan-derived plastic solutions for modifying wood-based materials

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing wood-based polymer materials. Specifically, the invention proposes a method for producing wood-based materials, which includes the following steps: 1) coating the wood-based material with a furan-derived polymerization solution containing a furan derivative, an inorganic salt to inhibit the polymerization of the furan derivative at room temperature, and an inorganic shell salt to accelerate the polymerization of the furan derivative; and 2) furan-derived polymers in a furan-derived resin solution were incorporated into the wood-based material by heating. Furan-derived resin solutions for modifying wood-based materials were also discussed.
