Video processing methods in video decoders and video decoding devices

Abstract

This paper addresses the video processing method in the decoder and the video decoding device. The processing circuit decodes the information of the encoder from the bit stream. This information indicates the internal prediction mode for the encoder, the selection of the primary modifier which can be isolated from the candidate primary modifiers, and the selection of the scan pattern from the candidate scan pattern. The processing circuit determines whether a secondary inseparable transformation can be selected not to be applied to the bit stream and whether a primary inseparable transformation can be selected to be applied to the bit stream. Therefore, the processing circuit determines the residuals of the encoded block from the bit stream based on the selection of the scan pattern and the selection of the primary inseparable transformation. The processing circuit recovers the encoded block based on a combination of the residuals with the internal prediction of the encoded block. The internal prediction of the encryption block is based on the internal prediction mode.
