Methods for stabilizing liquid preparations containing collagen peptides

Abstract

The invention relates to a stabilizing preparation for a liquid preparation containing a collagen peptide of the type glyco-Pro-Hyp, and food containing such preparation, and in the stabilizing preparation for a liquid preparation containing a collagen peptide in respect of a living aspect, the stabilizing preparation containing gluconodeltadactone as the active ingredient, the pH of which is between 3.0 and 4.0, GPH, the indicator component of the collagen peptide, is stabilized, and the superior efficiency in having a marketable and easily distributed product in food form with a longer shelf life and high preference for the reduction of GPH content when the storage time is extended. The research also addresses the preparation of collagen peptide-containing products and methods for stabilizing collagen peptide-containing products.
