Distribution trough with filter module

Abstract

The filter module (1) of the filtration system for the distribution trough (10) consists of a filter (lf) arranged with grooves (lc) extending from the groove inlet to the groove outlet, and a wall module (2) consisting of a wall defining the opening (2o) extending the strip over the opening height (h2) from the floor (10f). The loop path (2b) is defined between the wall module (2) and the filter module (1) with the largest width (112) so that the molten metal can only flow from the inlet to the outlet by flowing through the filter grooves (if) or through the loop path (2b). The wall module includes the wall edge (2L) with width (t2L). The filter module (1) also includes the filter edge (1L) with width (t1L) and is offset vertically from the wall edge (2L) to form the silver wall.
