Abstract

The aspects of the invention relate generally to wireless communication, and more specifically to the equipment, user equipment and relay equipment for wireless communication and the method of wireless communication (as implemented by such equipment). In some respects, user equipment (UE) can transmit, to another UE, a set of encoded packets associated with vehicle-to-thing (V2X) communication. In this context, the set of encrypted packets generated according to the network encryption scheme is transmitted to the relay device, the set of encrypted packets associated with the traditional V2X communication, and received from the relay device, an acknowledgment message based at least in part on the transmission to the relay device, the set of encrypted packets associated with the V2X communication.
