Abstract

The concept involves proposing methods, equipment, and computer-readable recording devices for communication. The method includes identifying, at the network device, the data carrier element associated with the multimedia service; and transmitting, to the terminal device, the initial information including the identification of the multimedia service and the identification of the data carrier element. This method also includes a step where, at the terminal device, the first piece of information is received from the network device; and communication between the terminal device and the network device is performed based on this first piece of information. In this way, simultaneous transmission of both multi-way and uni-way signals for MBMS can be achieved, and the reliability of MBMS can be enhanced.
