Abstract
The invention relates to a device for positioning the base of a yarn joining assembly of a weaving machine and a method for positioning the base of this yarn joining assembly. The base of this yarn joining assembly is provided with at least two positioning forks compatible with the fixed positioning parts of this weaving machine. This yarn joining assembly is of the type that automatically joins broken yarn ends. Preferably, this weaving machine is a loop spinning machine.
