Abstract

Hair care preparations include: i) a cleansing phase comprising a surfactant, in which at least 50% of the total surfactant consists of an ethoxylated anionic alkyl sulfate surfactant; iii) an oil-in-water emulsion comprising silicon; iii) a prorotone compound at a level of 0.15 to 1.5% by weight of the preparation; and iv) a cationic polymer in which the cationic polymer contains an anionic dimethyl diallyl group, at a level of 0.1 to 1.0% by weight of the preparation; In which the anti-dandruff component of the preparation is less than 50% by weight in solid form.
