Abstract

In certain respects, a voltage regulator consists of a transistor coupled between the input and output of the voltage regulator, and an amplifier whose first input is coupled to a reference voltage, whose second input is coupled to the output of the voltage regulator via feedback, and whose output. The voltage regulator also includes a voltage booster coupled between the output of the amplifier and the gate terminal of the transistor.
