Abstract

This invention relates to a method for producing manganese(H) sulfite monohydrate consisting of a grinding and washing step for grinding and washing manganese-containing byproducts, a maceration step for macerating the manganese-containing byproducts ground after the grinding and washing step to produce the maceration extract, a neutralization step for neutralizing the maceration extract produced in the maceration step, and a removal step for removing impurities from the maceration extract neutralized in the neutralization step. The solvent extraction step recovers manganese in the form of an aqueous solution of manganese sulfate from the liquid treatment, which must undergo a pore removal step using solvent extraction, and the crystallization step produces manganese(Π) sulfate monohydrate by evaporating and concentrating the aqueous solution of manganese sulfate produced in the solvent extraction step.
