Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile radio station comprising a frame and a communication tower having at least one communication antenna and a towing mechanism capable of positioning the communication tower in a folded configuration in which the communication tower is positioned within the frame, and a deployed configuration in which the communication tower extends out of the frame and has at least one antenna positioned in an upward direction toward the frame. The mobile radio station also contains a tower deployment crane that can be used to control the movement of the towed crane and thus the movement of the communication tower between the folded configuration and the deployed configuration. A pull-type lifting mechanism consists of at least two pull-type lifting stages connected in a way that allows them to move together, using multiple inter-stage linkages. Each inter-stage linkage contains a first linkage with a first contact point, a second linkage with a second contact point, and a rotating connection around the linkage axis that facilitates movement at a relative angle between the first and second linkages. The first connecting element is connected to the first pull-type lifting stage, and the second connecting element is connected to the adjacent second pull-type lifting stage, so that as the communication tower moves from its folded configuration to its deployed configuration, the first connecting element rotates relative to the second connecting element around its axis until the first contact point contacts the second contact point at the contact point. Further rotational movement of the first connecting element relative to the second connecting element around the rotational connection axis causes the rotational movement of the first connecting element relative to the second connecting element around the contact point and the movement of the interlayered connecting element into a rigid configuration in which the rigidity of the interlayered connection is increased.
