Methods for providing safe road navigation based on geographical characteristics

Abstract

The invention proposes a safe road navigation method using the geographical characteristics of a route. Safety is defined by a prioritized list of data components and constraints on the route to restrict movement of actors on a fixed number of routes. The proposed method extends the cost-effectiveness formula to find the shortest route on the original graph by summing the weights of all features estimated according to the cost of length. From this, a solution was found that ensures both fast and safe movement. The pathfinding method in the invention is highly efficient and has the potential to be widely applied to many real-world problems.
