Abstract

The invention refers to a floating system (11) used for installing large offshore wind turbines (12) with a capacity of over 10 MW installed in sea areas with a water depth of over 50 m. The floating system includes a submerged tank structure, vertical unloading columns and an upper deck structure. The submerged tank has an inner triangular structure (22) which increases the rigidity of the floating system, at each vertex there are beams (23) pointing outwards in the radial direction of the triangular structure. The unloading columns (18, 19) are divided into two groups, inner and outer. The inner columns (19) are located at the abutments of the triangular structure, and the outer columns (18) are connected to the outer ends of the beams (23). The deck structure consists of beams (21) connecting the inner and outer column pairs, and a transfer structure (20) to connect the wind turbine unloading tower (13) and the floating buoy (11). The arrangement of pairs of columns has the effect of reducing the force of the waves and currents acting on the buoy and at the same time increasing the rigidity of the transfer structure (20) helping the wind turbine system to operate safely.
