Abstract

The invention relates to an absorbent sheet (40) for use in animal toilets (1), which consists of a front sheet (41), a back sheet (42) and an absorbent body (50), in which: the absorbent body (50) includes a first absorbent layer (51) of high absorbent polymer and a second absorbent layer (52) placed on one side in the thickness direction from the first absorbent layer (51) and containing high absorbent polymer in the liquid absorbent fibers; the first absorbent layer (51) contains an antibacterial agent (60); and the density of the antimicrobial substance (60) is higher on one side of the first permeable layer (51) in the thickness direction than on the other side of the first permeable layer (51) in the thickness direction.
