Abstract

The invention relates to a double warp knitting machine consisting of: a pair of front jacquard looms (JB2,3) and a pair of back lacquard looms (JB4, 5) which are jacquard looms, wherein each front jacquard loom (JB2, 3) and back jacquard loom (JB4, 5) is a half-size lacquard loom; and at least one front-facing grounding guide bar (GB1) is positioned on the front of the front lacquard weaving bars (JB2, 3) and at least one rear-facing grounding guide bar (GB6, 7, 8) is positioned on the rear of the rear lacquard weaving bars (JB4, 5), as the grounding guide bar. The Raschel double warp knitting machine differs in that the four half-size lacquard weaving bars have lacquard weaving guide bars in the same position along the width direction of the knitting machine.
