Abstract

The patent refers to a preventive and therapeutic immunotherapy vaccine containing natural killer cells loaded with ligands of natural killer T cells and cancer antigens, and more specifically, a preventive or therapeutic immunotherapy vaccine containing natural killer cells loaded with alpha-galactosylceramide (α-GC), which is a ligand of natural killer T cells and a type of glycolipid. The preparation according to the invention can be used as an anticancer immunotherapy agent because natural killer cells are more readily obtained than dendritic cells, and immunization with natural killer cells loaded with natural killer T cell ligands and antigens produces a cytotoxic T lymphocyte response as well as a significant therapeutic effect on malignant tumors.
