Methods for managing experience quality measurements and radio access network nodes

Abstract

The invention relates to techniques for managing and processing quality-of-experience (Q₀E) measurements by user equipment (L₀E), digital storage media by non-transferable computers, radio access networks and user equipment. For example, in the first node of the radio access network (RAN), including a transmission step of ¢1010), to the second node in the RAN, status information for the measurements is combined with one or more QoE measurements configured for the UE by the first node. The second node may be combined with the first node for one of the following: changing the UE configuration for dual connectivity; UE mobility; restarting or resetting the UE's Radio Resource Control (RRC); and switching the data transfer for the service from the UE path via the first RAN node to the UE path via the second RAN node.
