Abstract
Description
Lighting system, terminal device, and method for setting mapping for a lighting system
[0001] The present invention relates to a lighting system, a terminal device, and a method for setting mapping for a lighting system.
[0002] Conventionally, lighting systems including a plurality of lighting fixtures that communicate wirelessly have been known. As an example of this type of lighting system, Patent Literature 1 discloses a lighting system including a plurality of lighting fixtures and a terminal device (setting device) that associates location information of the plurality of lighting fixtures with unique addresses. In this lighting system, the lighting state of certain lighting fixtures is changed by an operation input on the terminal device, and the location of the lighting fixture whose lighting state has been changed is manually confirmed, thereby associating the location information of the certain lighting fixtures with the unique addresses.
[0003] JP 2016-91637 A
[0004] As described above, in the lighting system, a terminal device is used to perform mapping setting to associate the location information of a lighting fixture with a unique address. However, in the lighting system described in Patent Document 1, for example, if there is an error in recognizing the location of a lighting fixture whose lighting state has changed, an error may occur in the mapping setting of the lighting system.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a lighting system or the like that can prevent errors from occurring in mapping settings of the lighting system.
[0006] One aspect of the lighting system of the present invention comprises a plurality of lighting fixtures, each having a unique address; a first terminal device that holds identification information for a group of lighting fixtures made up of the plurality of lighting fixtures and communicates with the plurality of lighting fixtures; and a second terminal device that displays location information indicating the positions of the plurality of lighting fixtures and the group of lighting fixtures, wherein the first terminal device transmits to a predetermined lighting fixture among the plurality of lighting fixtures an information signal including the identification information of the group of lighting fixtures, and also transmits a request signal requesting that the predetermined lighting fixture output the unique address of the predetermined lighting fixture and the identification information transmitted from the first terminal device, wherein the predetermined lighting fixture outputs the unique address and the identification information upon receiving the information signal and the request signal, and wherein the second terminal device receives the unique address and the identification information output from the predetermined lighting fixture and displays reception information indicating that the unique address and the identification information have been received.
[0007] One aspect of the terminal device of the present invention comprises a communication unit that communicates with a plurality of lighting fixtures, each having a unique address; a display unit that displays location information indicating the locations of the plurality of lighting fixtures and a group of lighting fixtures formed by the plurality of lighting fixtures; and a control unit that controls the communication unit and the display unit, wherein the control unit transmits an information signal including identification information of the group of lighting fixtures to a predetermined lighting fixture among the plurality of lighting fixtures via the communication unit, and transmits a request signal requesting a return of the unique address of the predetermined lighting fixture and the identification information transmitted from the communication unit, and upon receiving the unique address and identification information transmitted from the predetermined lighting fixture, causes the display unit to display reception information indicating that the unique address and identification information have been received.
[0008] A mapping setting method for a lighting system of the present invention is a method for setting mapping for a lighting system including a plurality of lighting fixtures, each having a unique address; a first terminal device that holds identification information for a group of lighting fixtures made up of the plurality of lighting fixtures and communicates with the plurality of lighting fixtures; and a second terminal device that displays location information indicating the locations of the plurality of lighting fixtures and the group of lighting fixtures, the method including the steps of: the first terminal device transmitting, to a specific lighting fixture of the plurality of lighting fixtures, an information signal that includes the identification information of the group of lighting fixtures and transmitting a request signal that requests the specific lighting fixture to output the unique address of the specific lighting fixture and the identification information transmitted from the first terminal device; the specific lighting fixture outputting the unique address and the identification information upon receiving the information signal and the request signal; and the second terminal device receiving the unique address and the identification information output from the specific lighting fixture and then associating the unique address with the location information of the lighting fixture.
[0009] The lighting system etc. of the present invention can suppress errors in mapping settings of the lighting system.

[0011] The lighting system includes a plurality of lighting fixtures that communicate wirelessly with each other and a terminal device that performs various settings for the lighting fixtures. The lighting fixtures are installed in, for example, construction materials (such as a ceiling) of a building.
[0012] In order to control the lighting of multiple lighting fixtures installed in building materials, it is necessary to know the location information and unique address of each lighting fixture. Therefore, after installing multiple lighting fixtures in a building, mapping is set up to associate the location information of each lighting fixture with its unique address.
[0013] 1 is a diagram showing how mapping is set for a lighting system 1. In this example, an example will be described in which two lighting systems 1 and 101 are installed on the same floor of a building. Note that this example is an example for understanding the embodiment and is not a prior art.
[0014] 1A, for example, the worker setting up the mapping may select the unique address ua of a lighting fixture 30 displayed on the screen of terminal device 20 and blink the lighting fixture 30 corresponding to the selected unique address ua, thereby learning the relationship between the location of the lighting fixture 30 and the unique address ua. The worker then drags the selected unique address ua onto the screen and places it over the icon 28 corresponding to the lighting fixture 30, thereby associating the location information of the lighting fixture 30 with the unique address ua.
[0015] Here, a case will be described in which mapping settings for one lighting system 1 and the other lighting system 101 are simultaneously performed using one terminal device 20 and the other terminal device 120, respectively. In this case, an error in the mapping setting for one lighting system 1 may occur due to the operation of a lighting fixture 130 in the other lighting system 101. For example, as shown in FIG. 1B , an operator may mistake a lighting fixture 130 that has been blinked in response to an operation input from the other terminal device 120 for a lighting fixture 30 that has been blinked in response to a blink instruction from one lighting system 1, and may erroneously perform mapping setting on the icon 128 corresponding to the lighting fixture 130. If there is an error in the mapping setting, it is necessary to blink and check multiple lighting fixtures one by one in order to find the incorrectly configured lighting fixture 30 or 130, which requires a great deal of effort.
[0016] In contrast, the lighting system 1 etc. of the present embodiment has the following configuration, making it possible to prevent errors from occurring in the mapping settings of the lighting system 1.
[0017] Hereinafter, the embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that each of the embodiments described below represents a specific example of the present invention. The numerical values, shapes, materials, components, component placement and connection configurations, steps, and step order shown in the following embodiments are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present invention. Furthermore, among the components in the following embodiments, components that are not described in an independent claim showing an implementation of one aspect of the present invention will be described as optional components. Implementation of the present invention is not limited to the current independent claim, but may also be expressed by other independent claims.
[0018] It should be noted that the drawings are schematic diagrams and are not necessarily strict illustrations. In addition, in the drawings, substantially the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and duplicated explanations may be omitted or simplified.
[0019] First Embodiment 1-1. Overall Configuration of Lighting System The overall configuration of a lighting system 1 according to a first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. FIG.
[0020] Fig. 2 is a diagram schematically illustrating the lighting system 1 according to the embodiment 1. Fig. 3 is a block diagram of the lighting system 1.
[0021] The lighting system 1 according to this embodiment includes a plurality of lighting fixtures 30, a communication interface 40, a first terminal device 10, and a second terminal device 20.
[0022] The first terminal device 10 and the second terminal device 20 are different terminal devices. For example, the first terminal device 10 is a dedicated remote controller for the lighting system 1, and the second terminal device 20 is a tablet terminal or a smartphone. The first terminal device 10 and the second terminal device 20 can communicate with each other via wireless communication r1. As a communication method via wireless communication r1, methods such as NFC (Near Field Communication) and Bluetooth (registered trademark) are used.
[0023] The first terminal device 10 and the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 can communicate with each other via wireless r2. Wireless r2 communication methods include specific low-power radio using a frequency in the 920 MHz band, Zigbee (registered trademark), Bluetooth (registered trademark), and Wi-Fi (registered trademark). The first terminal device 10 and the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 may also communicate with each other via infrared communication.
[0024] The lighting fixtures 30 and the communication interface 40 can communicate with each other via wireless r3. The communication method via wireless r3 may be a specific low-power radio using a frequency in the 920 MHz band, Zigbee (registered trademark), Bluetooth (registered trademark), or Wi-Fi (registered trademark).
[0025] The communication interface 40 and the second terminal device 20 can communicate with each other via wireless r4. As a communication method via wireless r4, a method such as WiFi (registered trademark) is used.
[0026] The communication interface 40 is composed of a wireless access point 41 and a wireless controller 42. The wireless access point 41 is a device that allows multiple lighting fixtures 30 to communicate with each other, and is communicatively connected to the multiple lighting fixtures 30 via wireless communication r3. The wireless controller 42 is communicatively connected to the second terminal device 20 via wireless communication r4. The wireless access point 41 and the wireless controller 42 are connected to each other via a wired connection.
[0027] The wireless access point 41 and the wireless controller 42 may be communicatively connected by wireless. The communication interface 40 may be communicatively connected to a management server that manages the operation of the lighting system 1. In Figures 2 and 3, the communication interface 40 is configured by the wireless access point 41 and the wireless controller 42, but is not limited to this. For example, the communication interface 40 may be configured only by the wireless access point 41, and the wireless access point 41 and the second terminal device 20 may be able to communicate with each other wirelessly r4.
[0028] [1-2. Configuration of First Terminal Device, Lighting Fixtures, Communication Interface, and Second Terminal Device] The configuration of the first terminal device 10, the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, the communication interface 40, and the second terminal device 20 included in the lighting system 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 8.
[0029] First terminal device 10 is a terminal that controls the lighting of a plurality of lighting fixtures 30. First terminal device 10 is capable of collectively controlling the lighting of a lighting fixture group G1 that is configured from a plurality of lighting fixtures 30.
[0030] FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the first terminal device 10 included in the lighting system 1. As shown in FIG.
[0031] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first terminal device 10 includes a communication unit 11, an input unit 13, a control unit 15, and a storage unit 16.
[0032] Communication unit 11 is configured with a wireless module including an antenna, etc. Communication unit 11 communicates with second terminal device 20 via wireless communication r1 and with lighting fixture 30 via wireless communication r2.
[0033] The storage unit 16 is configured with a memory, a program stored in the memory, etc. The storage unit 16 stores identification information ig1 of a lighting fixture group G1 configured of a plurality of lighting fixtures 30. The identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 is, for example, information indicating a frequency channel used for wireless communication between the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and the first terminal device 10. For example, if the first terminal device 10 is capable of communicating with the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 via specified low-power radio, the identification information ig1 is one of 30 frequency channels (CH).
[0034] The input unit 13 accepts various operation inputs. For example, when the input unit 13 accepts a first input for transmitting the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to the second terminal device 20, the input unit 13 outputs a signal indicating that the first input has been accepted to the control unit 15. Furthermore, when the input unit 13 accepts a second input for sending the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to a predetermined lighting fixture 30, the input unit 13 outputs a signal indicating that the second input has been accepted to the control unit 15. The predetermined lighting fixture 30 is a portion of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30. The number of predetermined lighting fixtures 30 may be one or more.
[0035] The control unit 15 is configured by, for example, a microprocessor, and controls the communication unit 11, the input unit 13, and the storage unit 16.
[0036] When the control unit 15 receives the first input via the input unit 13, it transmits an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the specified lighting fixture 30 belongs to the second terminal device 20 via the communication unit 11.
[0037] When the control unit 15 receives the second input via the input unit 13, it transmits an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to the predetermined lighting fixture 30 via the communication unit 11. At the same time, the control unit 15 transmits a request signal s2 to the predetermined lighting fixture 30 requesting that the predetermined lighting fixture 30 output its unique address ua and the identification information ig1 transmitted from the first terminal device 10. The unique address ua and the identification information ig1 are used when configuring mapping for the lighting system 1.
[0038] Control unit 15 can reduce the number of lighting fixtures 30 that receive the information signal s1 and the request signal s2 by using communication unit 11 to transmit the information signal s1 and the request signal s2 at a lower transmission power than usual. For example, if the transmission power when controlling the lighting of multiple lighting fixtures 30 is P, first terminal device 10 can transmit the information signal s1 and the request signal s2 only to certain lighting fixtures 30 by setting the transmission power to between 0.1P and 0.5P. Furthermore, the transmission power of first terminal device 10 may be adjusted so that a desired number of lighting fixtures 30 receive the information signal s1 and the request signal s2.
[0039] Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the arrangement of lighting fixtures 30 included in lighting system 1. Fig. 5 also shows first terminal device 10. Fig. 5 also shows lighting fixtures 130, lighting fixture group G2, and first terminal device 110 of the other lighting system 101.
[0040] The lighting fixtures 30 are, for example, LED lights, and are installed in the building materials. While nine lighting fixtures 30 are shown in Fig. 5, this is not limiting, and 100 or more lighting fixtures 30 may be installed in the building materials. Hereinafter, the term "lighting fixture 30" may refer to all or one of the multiple lighting fixtures 30.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 3 , the lighting device 30 includes a communication unit 31 , a lighting unit 37 , and a control unit 35 .
[0042] The communication unit 31 is configured with a wireless module including an antenna, etc. The communication unit 31 communicates with a wireless access point 41 of the communication interface 40 via wireless r3. The lighting unit 37 includes a light source such as a plurality of light-emitting diodes that emit white light, red light, green light, or blue light.
[0043] Control unit 35 is configured with a microprocessor. Control unit 35 controls the operation of communication unit 31 and lighting unit 37 based on a control signal output from, for example, first terminal device 10 or second terminal device 20. The memory stores a unique address ua of lighting device 30 itself. The unique address ua may be a MAC address (Media Access Control address) or a communication address.
[0044] Upon receiving the information signal s1 and request signal s2 transmitted from the first terminal device 10, the predetermined lighting fixture 30 outputs to the outside its own unique address ua and the identification information ig1 transmitted from the first terminal device 10. Specifically, the predetermined lighting fixture 30 transmits a signal including the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 to the communication interface 40.
[0045] The communication interface 40 is installed in a construction material, similar to the lighting fixture 30. In this embodiment, the wireless access point 41 of the communication interface 40 is fixed to the construction material.
[0046] Communication interface 40 is a communication device that connects lighting fixtures 30 and second terminal device 20. For example, communication interface 40 converts a blink request signal transmitted from second terminal device 20 into a signal readable by lighting fixture 30 and transmits the signal to lighting fixture 30. Communication interface 40 also converts a signal transmitted from each lighting fixture 30, including unique address ua and identification information ig1, into a signal readable by second terminal device 20 and transmits the signal to second terminal device 20.
[0047] The second terminal device 20 is a device that performs mapping settings for the lighting system 1 via the communication interface 40. In the present embodiment, the second terminal device 20 is used to perform mapping settings that associate the location information ip of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 with the unique addresses ua.
[0048] Fig. 6 is a plan view showing the second terminal device 20. As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 6, the second terminal device 20 includes a communication unit 21, a display unit 27, a control unit 25, and a storage unit 26.
[0049] The communication unit 21 is configured with a wireless module including an antenna, etc. The communication unit 21 communicates with the communication interface 40 via wireless communication r4.
[0050] The display unit 27 displays a plurality of icons 28 corresponding to the respective positions of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 within the building.
[0051] FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an example of a screen displayed on the display unit 27 of the second terminal device 20. As shown in FIG.
[0052] 7, the positional relationship of the plurality of icons 28 is the same as the positional relationship of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 installed in the construction materials. For example, if the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 are arranged in three rows and three columns, the plurality of icons 28 are also displayed in three rows and three columns on the display unit 27. The display unit 27 also displays a lighting fixture group G1 consisting of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, and another lighting fixture group G2 different from the lighting fixture group G1.
[0053] Display unit 27 also displays, on each of the plurality of icons 28, location information ip indicating the locations of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30. Display unit 27 may change at least one of the shape, color, and size of icon 28 depending on identification information ig1 output from a given lighting fixture 30. Display unit 27 also displays location information ip indicating the locations of lighting fixture groups G1 and G2.
[0054] Display unit 27 also displays the unique addresses ua of the lighting fixtures 30 output from the lighting fixtures 30. The unique addresses ua are displayed in a list in a partial area of display unit 27, for example.
[0055] Display unit 27 is, for example, a touch panel, and also functions as an input unit that accepts various operational inputs. For example, when display unit 27 accepts a lighting operation input for blinking a specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping setting, display unit 27 outputs a signal indicating that the lighting operation input has been accepted to control unit 25.
[0056] The storage unit 26 is composed of a memory, a program stored in the memory, and the like. The storage unit 26 stores map information (layout information) of the interior of the building. Specifically, the storage unit 26 stores location information ip of each of the lighting fixtures 30, the lighting fixture groups G1 and G2, and the wireless access point 41. The location information ip is, for example, the location coordinates of each of the lighting fixtures 30, the lighting fixture groups G1 and G2, and the wireless access point 41 within the building.
[0057] The control unit 25 is configured by, for example, a microprocessor. The control unit 25 controls the communication unit 21, the display unit 27, and the storage unit 26. The control unit 25 acquires the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from the first terminal device 10 by wirelessly communicating with the first terminal device 10 via the communication unit 21, and stores the acquired information in the storage unit 26. As a result, the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 is stored in the storage unit 26. The identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 and the location information ip are stored in the storage unit 26 in association with each other.
[0058] The control unit 25 performs filtering on the identification information received via the communication unit 21, and then causes the display unit 27 to display information about the lighting fixture 30 that is the target of the mapping setting.
[0059] FIG. 8 is a diagram showing another example of a screen displayed on the display unit 27 of the second terminal device 20. As shown in FIG.
[0060] When control unit 25 accepts the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from a predetermined lighting fixture 30 as information to be handled by itself, control unit 25 causes display unit 27 to display reception information ir indicating that the unique address ua and identification information ig1 have been accepted. Specifically, control unit 25 displays reception information ir when the identification information ig1 output from a predetermined lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in storage unit 26. On the other hand, control unit 25 ignores the information output from the lighting fixture when the identification information transmitted from the lighting fixture differs from the identification information ig1 pre-stored in storage unit 26.
[0061] In this way, in lighting system 1, if the identification information received by second terminal device 20 matches pre-stored identification information ig1, second terminal device 20 accepts information output from a specific lighting fixture 30. Therefore, second terminal device 20 is configured not to retain identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups (e.g., G2).
[0062] Here, a situation where mapping settings for the lighting system 1 are performed will be described.
[0063] When control unit 25 receives an input to blink a predetermined icon 28 displayed on display unit 27, it transmits a blink instruction signal via communication unit 21 to cause lighting fixture 30 corresponding to predetermined icon 28 to blink. Lighting fixture 30 receives the blink instruction signal via communication interface 40 and blinks based on the blink instruction signal. The worker performing the mapping setup confirms the position of the blinking lighting fixture 30 and performs input to second terminal device 20.
[0064] In the second terminal device 20, for example, the unique address ua on the display unit 27 can be dragged and placed over the icon 28, thereby associating the location information ip of the lighting fixture 30 with the unique address ua. In this way, the control unit 25 performs mapping settings via the display unit 27 to associate the location information ip of a specific lighting fixture among the multiple lighting fixtures 30 with the unique address ua of the specific lighting fixture 30. Note that in the lighting system 1, the identification information ig1 and the location information ip of the lighting fixture group G1 are stored in association with each other in the storage unit 26, so the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 cannot be associated with a lighting fixture in another lighting fixture group G2. In other words, in the lighting system 1, the unique address ua output together with the identification information ig1 can only be associated with a lighting fixture in the lighting fixture group G1.
[0065] In this way, in the lighting system 1, the first terminal device 10 transmits to a specific lighting fixture 30 an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the specific lighting fixture 30 belongs, and also transmits a request signal s2 requesting the specific lighting fixture 30 to output the unique address ua and the identification information ig1. Upon receiving the information signal s1 and the request signal s2, the specific lighting fixture 30 outputs the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 to the outside. Then, upon receiving the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 from the outside, the second terminal device 20 displays reception information ir indicating that they have been received.
[0066] This allows the second terminal device 20 to retain the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the specific lighting fixture 30 targeted for mapping belongs, but is prevented from retaining identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. This prevents the second terminal device 20 from accidentally manipulating the unique addresses of lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. Furthermore, in this lighting system 1, the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 cannot be associated with a lighting fixture in another lighting fixture group G2. This prevents errors from occurring in the mapping configuration of the lighting system 1.
[0067] 1-3. Mapping Setting Method for Lighting System Next, a mapping setting method for the lighting system 1 will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0068] In this example, the other lighting system different from lighting system 1 is referred to as another lighting system 101, the lighting fixtures included in the other lighting system 101 are referred to as lighting fixtures 130, the lighting fixture group to which lighting fixture 130 belongs is referred to as lighting fixture group G2, and identification information of lighting fixture group G2 is referred to as identification information ig2. Furthermore, the first terminal device of the other lighting system 101 is referred to as first terminal device 110, and the second terminal device is referred to as second terminal device 120.
[0069] Fig. 9 is a sequence diagram showing mapping setting of the lighting system 1. Figs. 10 to 13 are diagrams showing how mapping setting is performed in the lighting system 1. Note that Fig. 9 omits the description of the processing executed by the communication interface.
[0070] 10A, the first terminal device 10 and the second terminal device 20 of the lighting system 1 communicate with each other. Through this communication, the second terminal device 20 acquires the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from the first terminal device 10 (step S11). The acquired identification information ig1 is stored in the storage unit 26 in association with the location information ip of the lighting fixture group G1.
[0071] 10(b), the first terminal device 110 and the second terminal device 120 of the other lighting system 101 also communicate with each other. Through this communication, the second terminal device 120 acquires identification information ig2 of the lighting fixture group G2 from the first terminal device 110 (step S12). The acquired identification information ig2 is stored in the memory of the second terminal device 120 in a state where it is associated with the location information ip of the lighting fixture group G2.
[0072] Next, as shown in (a) of Figure 11, the first terminal device 10 transmits an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to a specific lighting fixture 30 among the multiple lighting fixtures 30, and also transmits a request signal s2 requesting that the specific lighting fixture 30 output the unique address ua of the specific lighting fixture 30 and the identification information ig1 transmitted from the first terminal device 10 (step S21).
[0073] Upon receiving the information signal s1 and the request signal s2 transmitted from the first terminal device 10, the predetermined lighting fixture 30 outputs its own unique address ua and the above-mentioned identification information ig1 to the outside (step S22), as shown in Fig. 11(b). The information including the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 output from the predetermined lighting fixture 30 is transmitted to the second terminal device 20 via the communication interface 40, as shown in Fig. 11(c).
[0074] Second terminal device 20 determines whether the identification information ig1 output from lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in storage unit 26 (step S23). In this case, since the identification information ig1 output from lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in storage unit 26, second terminal device 20 accepts the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from lighting fixture 30 as information to be handled by second terminal device 20. Second terminal device 20 displays acceptance information ir on display unit 27 indicating that the information has been accepted (step S24) (see FIG. 8 ).
[0075] In step S22, the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from the specified lighting fixture 30 also reach the second terminal device 120 of another lighting system 101. The second terminal device 120 determines whether the identification information ig2 output from the specified lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig2 pre-stored in the memory of the second terminal device 120 (step S25). In this case, the identification information ig1 output from the specified lighting fixture 30 does not match the identification information ig2 of the lighting fixture group G2 pre-stored in the memory of the second terminal device 120, so the second terminal device 120 does not accept and ignore the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from the specified lighting fixture 30 (step S26).
[0076] On the other hand, as shown in (a) of Figure 12, the first terminal device 110 of another lighting system 101 transmits to a specific lighting fixture 130 an information signal s1 including the identification information ig2 of the lighting fixture group G2, and also transmits a request signal s2 requesting the specific lighting fixture 130 to output the unique address ua and the identification information ig2 of the specific lighting fixture 130 (step S31).
[0077] Upon receiving the information signal s1 and the request signal s2 transmitted from the first terminal device 110, the predetermined lighting device 130 outputs its own unique address ua and the above-described identification information ig2 to the outside (step S32), as shown in Fig. 12(b). The information including the unique address ua and the identification information ig2 output from the predetermined lighting device 130 is transmitted to the second terminal device 120 via the communication interface, as shown in Fig. 12(c).
[0078] Second terminal device 120 determines whether the identification information ig2 output from lighting fixture 130 matches the identification information ig2 previously stored in the storage unit (step S33). In this case, the identification information ig2 output from lighting fixture 130 matches the identification information ig2 previously stored in the storage unit, so second terminal device 120 accepts the unique address ua and identification information ig2 output from lighting fixture 130 as information to be handled by second terminal device 120. Second terminal device 120 then displays acceptance information ir indicating that this information has been accepted (step S34).
[0079] In step S32, the unique address ua and identification information ig2 output from each lighting fixture 130 also reach second terminal device 20 of lighting system 1. Second terminal device 20 determines whether the identification information ig2 output from a specific lighting fixture 130 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in memory 26 of second terminal device 20 (step S35). In this case, since the identification information ig2 output from the specific lighting fixture 130 does not match the identification information ig1 pre-stored in memory 26, second terminal device 20 does not accept and ignores the unique address ua and identification information ig2 output from the specific lighting fixture 130 (step S36).
[0080] Next, when second terminal device 20 of lighting system 1 receives a key operation input for a predetermined icon 28 displayed on display unit 27 (step S41), second terminal device 20 transmits a blinking instruction signal via communication unit 21 to cause a predetermined lighting fixture 30 corresponding to the predetermined icon 28 to blink (step S42). The predetermined lighting fixture 30 receives the blinking instruction signal via communication interface 40 and blinks based on the blinking instruction signal (step S43).
[0081] When the first terminal device 110 of the other lighting system 101 also receives a key operation input for a predetermined icon displayed on its display unit (step S44), it transmits a blinking instruction signal via its communication unit to cause a predetermined lighting fixture 130 corresponding to the predetermined icon to blink (step S45). The predetermined lighting fixture 130 receives the blinking instruction signal via its communication interface and blinks based on the blinking instruction signal (step S46).
[0082] The worker performing the mapping setup confirms the location of the blinking lighting fixture 30 and inputs the mapping setup into the second terminal device 20 as shown in FIG. 13 (step S47). The second terminal device 20 holds the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the lighting fixture 30 for which mapping setup is being performed belongs, but does not hold the identification information ig2 of the other lighting fixture group G2. This prevents the second terminal device 20 from accidentally operating the unique address ua of a lighting fixture 130 in the other lighting fixture group G2. Furthermore, in this lighting system 1, the lighting fixture group G1 and the identification information ig1 are stored in association with each other in the storage unit 26, so the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 cannot be associated with any lighting fixture group G2 other than the lighting fixture group G1 (see FIG. 13). This prevents errors from occurring in the mapping setup of the lighting system 1.
[0083] (Embodiment 2) A lighting system 1A according to embodiment 2 will be described with reference to Fig. 14 and Fig. 15. In embodiment 2, an example will be described in which the first terminal device 10 and the second terminal device 20 are the same terminal device.
[0084] FIG. 14 is a block diagram of a lighting system 1A according to the second embodiment.
[0085] 14 , lighting system 1A includes a plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and a terminal device 20A. Terminal device 20A has the functions of a communication interface 40, a first terminal device 10, and a second terminal device 20.
[0086] Terminal device 20A and the lighting fixtures 30 can communicate with each other via wireless r2. The communication method via wireless r2 may be a specific low-power radio using a frequency in the 920 MHz band, Zigbee (registered trademark), Bluetooth (registered trademark), or Wi-Fi (registered trademark).
[0087] Terminal device 20A is a terminal that controls the lighting of multiple lighting fixtures 30. Terminal device 20A is capable of collectively controlling the lighting of lighting fixture group G1 made up of multiple lighting fixtures 30. Terminal device 20A also performs mapping settings for lighting system 1A. In the second embodiment, terminal device 20A is used to perform mapping settings that associate the location information ip of multiple lighting fixtures 30 with the unique addresses ua.
[0088] 14, the terminal device 20A includes a communication unit 21, a control unit 25, a storage unit 26, and a display unit 27. The terminal device 20A is, for example, a tablet terminal or a smartphone.
[0089] The communication unit 21 communicates with the lighting fixture 30 wirelessly via r2.
[0090] The storage unit 26 stores identification information ig1 of a lighting fixture group G1 consisting of a plurality of lighting fixtures 30. The storage unit 26 also stores map information about the interior of the building. Specifically, the storage unit 26 stores location information ip of each of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, the lighting fixture groups G1 and G2, and the wireless access point 41.
[0091] The display unit 27 displays a plurality of icons 28 corresponding to the respective positions of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 within the building.
[0092] FIG. 15 is a diagram showing an example of a screen displayed on the terminal device 20A.
[0093] 15 , the positional relationship between the plurality of icons 28 is the same as the positional relationship between the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 installed in the construction material. Furthermore, the display unit 27 also displays lighting fixture groups G1 and G2 each consisting of a plurality of lighting fixtures 30. Furthermore, the display unit 27 displays, for each of the plurality of icons 28, position information ip indicating the positions of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30. The display unit 27 may change at least one of the shape, color, and size of the icon 28 in accordance with the identification information ig1 output from a specific lighting fixture 30.
[0094] Display unit 27 also displays the unique addresses ua of the lighting fixtures 30 output from the lighting fixtures 30. The unique addresses ua are displayed in a list in a partial area of display unit 27, for example.
[0095] Display unit 27 is, for example, a touch panel, and also functions as an input unit that accepts various operational inputs. For example, when display unit 27 accepts a lighting operation input for blinking a specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping setting, display unit 27 outputs a signal indicating that the lighting operation input has been accepted to control unit 25.
[0096] Furthermore, when the display unit 27 receives an input for sending the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to a specific lighting fixture 30, the display unit 27 outputs a signal indicating that the input has been received to the control unit 25.
[0097] When control unit 25 receives the above input via display unit 27, it transmits an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of lighting fixture group G1 to the predetermined lighting fixture 30 via communication unit 21. At the same time, control unit 25 transmits a request signal s2 to the predetermined lighting fixture 30 requesting it to return the unique address ua of the predetermined lighting fixture 30 and the identification information ig1 transmitted from terminal device 20A.
[0098] When control unit 25 accepts the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from a predetermined lighting fixture 30 as information to be handled by itself, control unit 25 causes display unit 27 to display reception information ir indicating that the unique address ua and identification information ig1 have been accepted.
[0099] In this way, in the lighting system 1A, the terminal device 20A also accepts information output from a specific lighting fixture 30 if the identification information received by the terminal device 20A matches the pre-stored identification information ig1. Therefore, the terminal device 20A stores the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the lighting fixture 30 for which mapping is being configured belongs, but it cannot store identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. Therefore, the terminal device 20A does not erroneously manipulate the unique address ua of a lighting fixture in another lighting fixture group G2. Furthermore, in the lighting system 1A, the lighting fixture group G1 and the identification information ig1 are stored in association with each other in the storage unit 26, so the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 cannot be associated with a lighting fixture group G2 other than the lighting fixture group G1. This prevents errors in the mapping configuration of the lighting system 1A.
[0100] (Summary) A lighting system 1 according to this embodiment includes a plurality of lighting fixtures 30, each having a unique address ua, a first terminal device 10 that holds identification information ig1 of a lighting fixture group G1 made up of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and communicates with the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, and a second terminal device 20 that displays location information ip that indicates the locations of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and the lighting fixture group G1. The first terminal device 10 transmits an information signal s1 including the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to a specific lighting fixture 30 among the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, and also transmits a request signal s2 requesting that the specific lighting fixture 30 output the unique address ua of the specific lighting fixture 30 and the identification information ig1 transmitted from the first terminal device 10. Upon receiving the information signal s1 and the request signal s2, the specific lighting fixture 30 outputs the unique address ua and the identification information ig1. When second terminal device 20 receives the unique address ua and identification information ig1 output from a predetermined lighting fixture 30, second terminal device 20 displays reception information ir indicating that the unique address ua and identification information ig1 have been received.
[0101] According to this lighting system 1, it is possible for the second terminal device 20 to retain the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which a specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping configuration belongs, and to be prevented from retaining identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. This prevents the second terminal device 20 from accidentally manipulating the unique addresses of lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. Furthermore, according to this lighting system 1, it is possible to prevent the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from being associated with lighting fixture groups other than the lighting fixture group G1. This makes it possible to prevent errors in mapping configuration in the lighting system 1.
[0102] In addition, the second terminal device 20 is provided with a display unit 27 that displays icons 28 corresponding to multiple lighting fixtures 30, and the display unit 27 may change at least one of the shape, color, and size of the icons 28 and display them according to the identification information ig1 received by the second terminal device 20.
[0103] This allows the worker to easily understand the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 received by the second terminal device 20. This makes it possible to prevent errors from occurring in the mapping settings of the lighting system 1.
[0104] In addition, the second terminal device 20 may have a memory unit 26 that stores identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1, and may display reception information ir when the identification information ig1 output from a specific lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in the memory unit 26.
[0105] In this way, when the identification information ig1 output from a specific lighting fixture 30 matches the identification information ig1 pre-stored in the storage unit 26, the reception information ir is displayed to notify the worker that the specific lighting fixture 30 that output the identification information ig1 is the lighting fixture 30 for which mapping setting is to be performed. This makes it possible to prevent errors from occurring in the mapping setting of the lighting system 1.
[0106] In addition, if the identification information output from the lighting fixture differs from the identification information ig1 pre-stored in the storage unit 26, the second terminal device 20 may ignore the information output from the lighting fixture.
[0107] According to this, the second terminal device 20 of the lighting system 1 can hold the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which the specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping setting belongs, but cannot hold identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures of other lighting fixture groups. This prevents the second terminal device 20 from accidentally operating the unique addresses of lighting fixtures of other lighting fixture groups. This makes it possible to prevent errors in the mapping setting of the lighting system 1.
[0108] In addition, the second terminal device 20 may acquire the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from the first terminal device 10 by wirelessly communicating with the first terminal device 10 and store the identification information ig1 in the memory unit 26.
[0109] This allows the second terminal device 20 to know the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 for which mapping is to be set, thereby preventing errors in mapping setting when setting mapping for the lighting system 1 using the second terminal device 20.
[0110] The storage unit 26 may also store the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 and the location information ip in a correlated state.
[0111] This makes it possible to prevent the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 from being associated with any lighting fixture group other than the lighting fixture group G1. In other words, the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 can be associated only with the lighting fixture group G1. This makes it possible to prevent errors in mapping settings of the lighting system 1.
[0112] Furthermore, the identification information ig1 may be information indicating a frequency channel used for wireless communication between the plurality of lighting devices 30 and the first terminal device 10.
[0113] This allows the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to be easily identified by associating it with the frequency channel.
[0114] Furthermore, the first terminal device 10 and the second terminal device 20 may be the same terminal device.
[0115] This simplifies the configuration of the lighting system 1A.
[0116] Terminal device 20A according to this embodiment includes a communication unit 21 that communicates with a plurality of lighting fixtures 30, each having a unique address ua, a display unit 27 that displays location information ip that indicates the location of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and a lighting fixture group G1 made up of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, and a control unit 25 that controls communication unit 21 and display unit 27. The control unit 25 transmits, via communication unit 21, to a predetermined lighting fixture 30 among the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, an information signal s1 that includes identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1, and also transmits a request signal s2 that requests the return of the unique address ua of the predetermined lighting fixture 30 and the identification information ig1 transmitted from communication unit 21. Upon receiving the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 returned from the predetermined lighting fixture 30, the control unit 25 causes display unit 27 to display reception information ir indicating that the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 have been received.
[0117] The terminal device 20A can retain the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which a specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping configuration belongs, and can prevent the terminal device 20A from retaining identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. This prevents the terminal device 20A from accidentally manipulating the unique addresses of lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. Furthermore, the terminal device 20A can prevent the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from being associated with lighting fixture groups other than the lighting fixture group G1. The terminal device 20A can prevent errors from occurring in the mapping configuration of the lighting system 1.
[0118] The mapping setting method for a lighting system according to this embodiment is a method for setting mapping for a lighting system 1 that includes a plurality of lighting fixtures 30, each having a unique address ua, a first terminal device 10 that holds identification information ig1 of a group G1 of lighting fixtures made up of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and communicates with the plurality of lighting fixtures 30, and a second terminal device 20 that displays location information ip that indicates the locations of the plurality of lighting fixtures 30 and the group G1 of lighting fixtures 30. The mapping setting method of this lighting system 1 includes the steps of: a first terminal device 10 transmitting, to a specific lighting fixture 30 among the multiple lighting fixtures 30, an information signal s1 including identification information ig1 of a lighting fixture group G1, and transmitting a request signal s2 requesting the specific lighting fixture 30 to output the unique address ua of the specific lighting fixture 30 and the identification information ig1 transmitted from the first terminal device 10; a step in which, upon receiving the information signal s1 and the request signal s2, the specific lighting fixture 30 outputs the unique address ua and the identification information ig1; and a step in which the second terminal device 20 accepts the unique address ua and the identification information ig1 output from the specific lighting fixture 30 and then associates the unique address ua with location information ip of the lighting fixture 30.
[0119] This method makes it possible to retain the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 to which a specific lighting fixture 30 that is the target of mapping configuration belongs, while preventing the retention of identification information transmitted from lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups. This prevents the unique addresses of lighting fixtures in other lighting fixture groups from being erroneously manipulated. Furthermore, this method makes it possible to prevent the unique address ua received together with the identification information ig1 of the lighting fixture group G1 from being associated with lighting fixture groups other than the lighting fixture group G1. This prevents errors from occurring in the mapping configuration of the lighting system 1.
