Abstract

The invention relates to a gear formed by a pin gear and a non-polar ring gear meshing together, the effective tooth surface of the pin gear being formed from an elliptical conical segment protruding outwards, and the distance between the highest and lowest points of the elliptical conical segment on the same cross-section decreasing inwards along the generating line of the reference conical surface of the pin gear. The invention uses an elliptical conical segment as the effective tooth surface of the pin gear meshing with the non-polar ring gear, resulting in an increase in the effective width of the tooth surface and the load-bearing capacity of the teeth, and a reduction in the wear of the effective tooth surfaces.
