The invention relates to a method and assembly of machines to obtain strips (S), in which the assembly of machines has at least three casting lines (11, 12, 13) arranged in parallel, including two side casting lines (11, 13) and one middle casting line (12), and at least two rolling lines (14, 15) are placed in line with at least two of the three side casting lines (11, 12, 13).
