Abstract

The invention relates to positioning techniques, specifically (positioning and positioning methods performed by a positioning entity). In one respect, the positioning entity determines the first time of flight (ToF) of the first non-line-of-sight (NLOS) component of the first radio frequency (RF) signal transmitted by a physical transmission-reception point (TRP) to at least one user equipment (UE) which determines the position of the virtual TRP associated with the physical TRP based at least on the first ToF, and determines the position of at least a second UE based, at least in part, on the position of the virtual TRP.
