Abstract

The invention generally relates to wireless communication, and more specifically, to repeaters, base stations, and methods of wireless communication performed by repeaters and base stations. In some respects, a repeater can receive configuration information associated with the configuration of the repeater's participation in the access procedure; receive signals associated with the access procedure from a first wireless communication device; and forward signals associated with the access procedure to a second wireless communication device based at least in part on configuration information and other information, associated with the access procedure, received by the repeater.
