Abstract

The device (10()) is used to transmit modulation (MTT) function of the non-focal optical system (105) with a receiver (110), a light source (115), a camera (120), at least one auxiliary light source (125), at least one auxiliary camera (130) and a transmission interface (135). In the operating state, the light source (J 15), the non-focal optical system (105) and the camera (120) are arranged coaxially on or have an axis parallel to the axis (162) and are oriented perpendicular to the receiving plane (140). The auxiliary light source (125), the non-focal optical system (105) and the auxiliary camcra (130) are arranged coaxially on or have axes parallel to the measuring axis (175) oriented axially relative to the measuring axis (162). The evaluation unit (ISO) is configured for identification using at least one camcra image (160), the amplitude shift function (MOT) of the non-focal optical system (105).
