Abstract

The display device consists of sub-pixels arranged within the display area to display images. Each sub-pixel includes a light-emitting element; a control transistor to control the light-emitting element; and a transistor whose on or off function can be controlled by a gate signal supplied via the gate line. Sub-pixels include pixels arranged in a specific area within the display area, and such pixels may include a compensating capacitor created by stacking the gate of the control transistor or a floating-point pattern connected to the gate of the control transistor and the gate line. The voltage level of the gate signal supplied via the gate line is changed to a lower voltage level at the moment at which the data voltage or the voltage generated from the change in data voltage is applied to the gate of the control transistor.
